Challenge

Carriage House is a small Michigan Cidery with a passion for making cider using natural ingredients and the traditional cider-making process. However, the inconsistency of their label design meant a lack of a recognizable identity and put friction in the production process.

Solution

We created a simple, consistent visual system that relied on color and scale for each variety. The type treatment reflects the unpredictability of the natural cider-making process. We designed the new logo to hold up under various print and digital conditions with a heart embedded into the apple mark to represent the love that founder Paula Camp has for the craft of traditional cider making.

Once we had the identity in place, we focused on design and copywriting for their new site, merchandise designs, and OOH advertising.

Results

Since the brand transformation, Carriage House has seen a 60% increase in revenue.
