Lumity is a nonprofit that helps other Chicago area NPOs with finance and technology solutions as well as membership training. They started a STEM initative called “Spark.” The program pairs high school students from underserved communities with professionals to work on real world projects that use science, technology, engineering and math. We created a logo and a video that Lumity shared at its fundraising events. We filmed at a local high school and at two corporate headquarters to see students in action and get the perspective of volunteer professionals who participated in the program.

Lumity also asked us to help with some of their brand marketing materials. We created a series of headlines and support copy that could be used for digital and print communication, in-office and at fundraisers. The tone was informal and relatable and the lines reinforced their main brand differentiator: as a nonprofit they understand the challenges and constraints NPOs face and they could ease the pain of getting important operational functions done right.
